Aveda Men

When Aveda created a new line of hair products for men, they had to communicate the opportunity to salon owners. A key part of their strategy was to provide education from world-respected experts on how to cut men’s hair and use Aveda product to cleanse, condition and style. This educational manual is the foundation for Aveda’s educational marketing strategy.

Cargill SafeLane Surface Overlay

SafeLane™ Surface Overlay is a unique, patented polymer and aggregate mix created by the University of Michigan and marketed by Cargill. It helps prevent ice and snow from forming on road, bridge and walkway surfaces. To introduce it to the marketplace, we created a brochure, tradeshow booth, video, sell sheets and print advertising.

3M Lean Six Sigma

3M deployed Six Sigma in 2001 and added Lean in 2006. Throughout that time, I have been one of two writers approved to write about Lean Six Sigma in the company. This brochure is designed to be used globally to convey the customer and shareholder benefits of 3M’s tools and methodologies. It fits into a pocket inside the corporate brochure.

Restaurant Technologies, Inc.

Eagan based RTI (Restaurant Technologies, Inc) partnered with Cargill to help bring zero trans fat frying oil to the restaurant industry. With this brochure and a series of innovative mailers, we helped convey the benefits of zero trans fat cooking and RTI’s unique oil delivery and recovery system.

3M ESPE Filtek Supreme

3M ESPE (3M’s dental division) launched a composite material with unique strength and esthetic properties. Its’ success was somewhat dependent on dentists’ ability to “layer” different shades and types of material to recreate the look of a natural tooth. This piece demonstrates the techniques with cases studies and expert instruction.
